Building a team starts with valuing the team. We hire the best of the best to ensure you’re working with people you can constantly learn from. You’re trusted to get your work done your way while testing the limits of what’s possible and what’s next. We work hard to provide a culture where everyone feels supported, and our employees feel it—their votes helped us become one of Newsweek's Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces in 2023.

We also value sports. Not just because of the big wins and highlight-worthy plays, but because of the lasting impact sports can have: the lifelong lessons in teamwork and dedication; the influence of inspiring mentors; the priceless opportunities to play at the next level. Sports can change lives—that’s what we value.

Our team helps the world see sports differently through products that make it easier to capture video, analyze data, share highlights and do a lot more.

Your Role

We’re looking for someone to support Hudl’s end-to-end supply chain activities for our full line of products.

As a Sr. Manager of Sourcing & Supplier Management, you’ll:

  • Develop a strategy. Your goal will be to help Hudl reach more of our customers worldwide, efficiently. As part of your overall strategy, you’ll define key performance indicators to propel business results, and be accountable for how the team reaches those metrics.
  • Build relationships. You’ll work with our contract manufacturers and strategic suppliers to negotiate business terms and ensure contracts are in place to protect Hudl's business interests.
  • Be the subject matter expert. When it comes to sourcing new product development through the early incubation phases, you’re the go-to person.
  • Be a coach. You’ll empower a global team of Supply Chain Managers, Analysts, Planners and Supplier Quality Engineers, fostering their talent to continuously improve supply chain capabilities. You’ll introduce best practices and new tools where needed.
  • Partner with stakeholders. You’ll coordinate across Hudl to ensure we have the capabilities in place to support our long-term product roadmap and business ambitions.
  • Measure outcomes. You’ll ensure metrics are in place to track the performance of the contract sites, and lead external or internal operating review meetings. You’ll also use this data to budget and find areas for improvement.
Location

Our priority is to hire someone for this role who lives near our office in Nebraska, but we're also open to remote candidates who live on the East Coast to help align with international time zones.

Must-Haves
  • Professional experience. You’ve negotiated contracts, managed suppliers and contract manufacturers, and, preferably, have experience in the consumer electronics category.
  • A problem solver. When something isn’t going according to plan, you find another solution quickly.
  • Not one for the status quo. “That’s the way we’ve always done it” isn’t in your vocabulary. You constantly look for ways to innovate and make things better. Good is never good enough.
  • A vocal leader. You have experience managing new initiatives and projects. You’re able to influence and challenge teams to incorporate best practices in everything they do.
Nice-to-Haves
  • New expertise. You’ll help build Hudl’s knowledge base in areas like assessment of industry trends, technology advancement, and the contract manufacturing landscape. There’s plenty of opportunity for us to improve on the way we develop, produce and forecast new products.
  • Negotiation tactics. As Hudl’s hardware business grows, it’s important that we’re using reliable, high-quality providers who can scale. Your negotiation skills will help make sure Hudl (and its customers) are getting great value.
  • Global background. Hudl sells products in many locations and it’s important for us to be able to fulfill orders all around the world.
Our Role
  • Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
  • Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
  • Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
  • Support your mental and physical health. We care about our employees’ wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Program, employee resource groups and fitness partner Peerfit have you covered.
  • Cover your medical insurance. We have multiple plans to pick from to ensure you’ll have the coverage you (and your dependents) want, including vision, dental, fertility healthcare and family forming benefits.
  • Contribute to your 401(K). Yep, that’s free money. We’ll match up to 4% of your own contribution.
Inclusion at Hudl

Hudl is an equal opportunity employer. Through our actions, behaviors and attitude, we’ll create an environment where everyone, no matter their differences, feels like they belong. We offer resources to ensure our employees feel safe bringing their authentic selves to work, including employee resource groups and communities. But we recognize there’s ongoing work to be done, which is why we track our efforts and commitments in annual inclusion reports. We also know imposter syndrome is real and the confidence gap can get in the way of meeting spectacular candidates. Please don’t hesitate to apply—we’d love to hear from you.
