At Databricks, our principles of customer obsession, ownership, and technical excellence are at the heart of everything we do. In the Automotive Manufacturing Strategics district in Germany, we work with some of the most innovative and complex customers, helping them turn data and AI into business transformation at scale. We seek passionate, proactive pre-sales professionals who thrive on navigating technical depth, building real trust with senior architects, and leading complex projects - not just presenting slides. In this role, you will showcase the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform’s real-world value, guiding customers from architectural vision to production success. Join a high-performing, ambitious team reshaping the future of automotive with data and AI.

The impact you will have:

  • Form strong, trusted relationships with strategic Automotive Manufacturing customers across Germany, partnering closely with Account Executives and Senior Solutions Architects to deliver tangible technical and business outcomes in complex environments.
  • Lead hands-on evaluations and deep technical discussions with senior architects and engineering stakeholders, demonstrating the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform’s integration into real-world enterprise ecosystems beyond standard demonstrations.
  • Actively contribute to building an elite technical community in Automotive Manufacturing, sharing best practices, patterns, and real-world lessons at workshops, seminars, and specialist meet-ups.
  • Become a strategic Big Data and AI advisor, influencing customer architecture decisions and guiding customers through critical platform adoption initiatives.
  • Support your customers by developing high-quality reference architectures, implementation frameworks, and bespoke solution assets - moving beyond standard collateral towards customer-specific impact.

What we look for:

  • Strong pre-sales experience, ideally in strategic or complex enterprise environments, with a proven ability to independently manage technical projects, influence customer strategy, and orchestrate multi-stakeholder engagements.
  • High level of ownership, a proactive mindset, and a passion for solving real customer challenges — not just delivering polished presentations.
  • Ability to confidently engage senior technical stakeholders, including chief architects and platform owners, translating complex requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Solid technical foundation: hands-on coding skills in Python, Java, or Scala, combined with a deep understanding of modern data architectures and major cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Experience leading proofs-of-concept, technical evaluations, and solution design workshops that directly influence large enterprise buying decisions.
