  • Design and optimize tools for seamless cloud infrastructure provisioning, enabling engineers to manage services effectively across all environments with minimal friction.
  • Implement secure, end-to-end logging, and comprehensive metrics systems that allow easy and thorough monitoring and analysis across our large-scale infrastructure.
  • Amplify the productivity of every Databricks engineer by tenfold through best in class developer infrastructure.
  • Lead cross-functional projects, influence architectural decisions, and provide mentorship to engineering teams to drive innovation and uphold high standards for operational excellence.

What We Look For:

  • Strong industry experience and track record of developing, building and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
  • Ability to think long-term while delivering incremental, measurable impact. You can balance big-picture strategic thinking with a passion for executing on high-priority initiatives.
  • Coding chops, clean, elegant, bug-free code in languages like Java, GO
  • Must have led teams of engineers to deliver autonomously on large multi-functionally driven projects
  • Proven track record of driving innovation within highly technical teams. You’ve led complex projects to fruition and are motivated by solving high-impact problems with elegant, scalable solutions.
  • Experienced at Cross Team Communication: Strong flair for effective communication and collaboration - you know when to push on and when to step back.
  • Push the bar on engineering standard processes and help leaders build a strong engineering culture
