The Role

Reporting to the Head of Business Systems, you will lead ongoing development and maintenance of our Salesforce CRM and the various applications within the Business Systems Ecosphere. You take ownership of product quality, including deployment best practices, reliability (backend service and user experience reliability), efficiency (DML Limits, CPU Usage, Processing Time etc.), security (data privacy, data access, user access, etc.) and performance. You drive changes to improve engineering efficiency in your organization, such as reducing the time and effort it takes to make a change, develop a new feature, or ramp up on a new feature. You develop metrics to quantify product quality and engineering efficiency, and begin to influence the people around you in these areas.

  • Lead and/or influence technical design efforts to establish efficient and effective solutions to business needs
  • Recommend technical solutions based on current industry best practices
  • Develop and support end-to-end Salesforce configurations, declarative development, deployment practices utilizing devops tools, and related business systems initiatives
  • Handle complex solutions relating not only to Org maintenance, troubleshooting errors, automation, system limits & performance, data security & governance, but also new and expanding initiatives
  • Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, System Limits, Health Check, and Optimizer
  • Provide direction in a cross-functional team or multiple teams, and deliver work with infrequent regular oversight.
  • Participate in the build and maintenance of technical documentation for all systems supported
  • Provide support & mentorship for business systems & data team members 
  • Onboard new SFDC application developers on our Systems & DevOps processes 

What You Bring to the Table

  • Minimum 8+ years of direct experience working with Salesforce and/or other CRM administration
  • Prior experience integrating 3rd party applications with Salesforce including custom integrations
  • Self-starter mentality plus a natural curiosity to make things more efficient and effective
  • Comfort in dealing with company personnel at all levels and ability to influence cross functional teams 
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, goal-oriented
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively as required
  • Experienced with owning the devops process, Gearset & Github preferred 
  • Salesforce.com Advanced Administrator Certification required
  • Certifications within the SFDC Architect pyramid highly desirable

Bonus Points for

  • Experience in APEX or LWC  
  • Zendesk, ZoomInfo, LeanData, or Gong Experience 
  • Data querying languages such as SOQL or SQL
  • Prior experience being part of an Agile (Scrum or Kanban) environment  
  • Prior experience in a high-growth SaaS company

The base salary range for this position is 130,000 - 150,000 CAD per year. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. At Pantheon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
