✅ The Role

At Corsearch, our top-tier client relationships are paramount. We're seeking an exceptional and highly experienced Strategic Account Manager to manage and grow our most critical, Tier 1 customer accounts. This pivotal role requires a proactive, strategic thinker with a deep passion for Corsearch, our innovative products and services, and most importantly, an unwavering commitment to the success of our key clients.

You will operate in a flexible work environment with the ability to work remotely, while also having the opportunity to travel frequently for high-impact client meetings, industry events, and to join influential committees. This role demands a commitment to advocating for brand owners, and the legal firms supporting them, and a keen understanding of emerging industry trends that could significantly impact your clients' intellectual property strategies.

✅ Responsibilities and Duties

  • Own the strategic commercial relationship for a select book of approximately 10-15 Tier 1 enterprise customers, with an acute focus on maximizing retention and accelerating revenue growth.
  • Serve as the primary strategic point of contact and trusted advisor for your assigned Tier 1 accounts, driving towards aggressive gross renewal, upsell, and cross-sell targets.
  • Cultivate and sustain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders within your portfolio, including C-suite executives, legal counsel, and procurement leaders.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive account plans for each Tier 1 client, outlining strategies for long-term partnership, value realization, and expansion.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue targets by collaborating strategically with internal partners (e.g., product, legal, marketing, professional services) to ensure optimal customer usage, satisfaction, and deep integration of Corsearch solutions.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks within your Tier 1 accounts, developing and implementing detailed risk mitigation plans with clear actions and accountability.
  • Lead complex contract negotiations and manage the full annual customer contract and renewal lifecycle, ensuring maximum annual recurring revenue (ARR) and favorable terms.
  • Drive significant annual price increases through effective value articulation and strategic negotiation.
  • Identify, develop, negotiate, and convert substantial new upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding client strategic initiatives and pain points.
  • Conduct regular, in-depth Executive Business Reviews (EBRs), presenting strategic insights, value delivered, and future roadmap alignment.
  • Deeply understand each Tier 1 customer’s fiscal year, budget cycles, long-term strategic objectives, and their complex contract and procurement processes.
  • Maintain impeccable and timely records in Salesforce.com and other support tools, ensuring accuracy and relevance for strategic decision-making and forecasting.
  • Provide accurate and insightful weekly, monthly, and quarterly revenue forecasts for your strategic accounts.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales leadership and other commercial team members to identify and capitalize on enterprise-wide opportunities within your Tier 1 account base.
  • Stay comprehensively informed about all major product updates, new features, and industry developments, effectively articulating their strategic value proposition to your clients.
  • Clearly and concisely communicate the progress of strategic initiatives and campaigns to both internal executive stakeholders and external client leadership.
