What You’ll Do:

  • Audit current product imagery on site, utilizing existing imagery standards, to ensure that it supports our visual quality goals, in partnership with our in-house styling team 
  • Support the in-house styling team on studio photoshoots
  • Assist curating seasonal product assortments in partnership with our in-house visual merchandising team
  • Engage in thoughtful creative discussions with creative peers and cross-functional partners, both responding positively to and offering constructive feedback
  • Produce work that resonates with our customers, follows our creative guidelines and continues to raise the bar for our brand
  • Interpret needs, objectives, and direction from multiple sources to ensure creative deliverables align with business goals
  • Pitch in on additional projects 

What You’ll Need:

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Current Sophomore or Junior student pursuing an undergraduate degree in interior design, photography, merchandising, visual communication, or related field with a 3.0 GPA minimum
  • Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the Co-op
  • Ability to commit to working 40 hours/week (9am-5pm, Monday-Friday) from January 6 to June 20, 2025 in our Boston office
  • You must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by Wayfair now or in the future
  • Ability to commute to Norton, MA for photoshoots 1 week every other month (travel is reimbursable following Wayfair’s corporate expense policies)

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Visual storytelling skills; ability to understand seasonal direction and pull products/props that would support 
  • Understanding of the latest trends and industry news
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and creative problem-solving skills
  • Top notch creative abilities plus the ability to articulate ideas and opinions
  • Strong ability to stay organized and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Be a strong contributor, an organized team player

Wayfair Co-op Program Overview:

Based in Wayfair’s Boston headquarters, our co-op program is a six-month, full-time, paid program that runs twice annually in January to June and July to December. Through the co-op program, students have the opportunity to gain impactful professional experience in their major or career field of interest by fully integrating with Wayfair business units. In addition to exciting project work, Wayfair co-ops have the opportunity to build their professional networks, take advantage of training offerings, and attend social events throughout the program.

Wayfair's In-Office Policy:

All Boston-based interns, co-ops, and corporate employees will be in office in a hybrid capacity. Employees will work in the office on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and work remotely Friday.
