Supplier Advertising Sr. Associate
The Wayfair Strategic Account Manager is a client-facing role dedicated to the success of Wayfair’s most important and engaged advertising partners. This role combines influential tactics with data driven insights and analytical skills to grow the business.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and execute a sales strategy to achieve the supplier's target by building plans to achieve internal annual objectives across various areas. Lead and serve as an advisor to clients, monitoring campaign performance and making recommendations to drive significant business results.
- Own a book of business that includes growing established brands / suppliers and also crack into new suppliers who have not yet advertised with Wayfair.
- Interpret advertising metrics, and summarize succinctly into action items.
- Identify performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance accordingly; developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning
- Ensure alignment with internal and external constituents; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as merchandising, category managers and partner operations to identify the ideal product solution set to drive the suppliers business forward
- Construct a learning agenda with results-driven strategies that can help scale other marketers/suppliers; tracking against key performance metrics
- Become a product superuser who is knowledgeable of every facet of our media advertising suite.
- Build and maintain a sales pipeline via phone calls, emails, and account planning to an established client base.
- Build relationships with clients through strong communication and anticipation of needs.
- Document all account related activity in Salesforce and other sales activity tools
- Meet or exceed all sales and account management related goals.
- Document observed issues, and your own ideas to help improve customer experience.
- Learn and grow in the dynamic industry of digital advertising.
What You’ll Need:
- 3+ years of experience in account management, marketing, business development or other relevant field.
- An obsession for detail and for driving positive growth for our clients.
- Strong organizational skills and desire to routinely exceed client expectations.
- A desire to thrive in a fun, fast-paced and constantly changing work environment.
- Strong analytical and data visualization skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
- An entrepreneurial, self-starter attitude, capable of both independent and cross-functional team assignments.
- An ability to prioritize across short term and long term goals.
- Advanced Google G-Suite skills, and particular strength in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Familiarity with e-commerce and the digital advertising ecosystem is a plus with a focus on retail media networks
- Media Sales or brand advertising sales experience is preferred
