The team
Modulr is experiencing significant growth, and this role Reporting to the Director of People and Culture, As Manager of Talent Acquisition team, you will lead a team of Talent Acquisition Operations Analysts to deliver data-driven insights, operational excellence, and strategic support across our recruitment lifecycle. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how we attract, assess, and promote talent, both internally and externally ensuring our hiring practices align with Modulr’s growth ambitions and values.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, scaling environment and is passionate about using data and strategy to drive meaningful change in how talent is identified, engaged, and developed.
The wider business teams are based in Edinburgh, London, Amsterdam and Mumbai. Modulr has an office-first policy as face-to-face and ad hoc collaboration will maximise our ability to meet our ambitious growth and profitability goals. In practise we expect our colleagues to be in-office at least 4 days per week.
The role
Summary
The Talent Acquisition Manager is a vital role within Modulr. The role manages a team of Talent Acquisition Operations Analysts to support the business partners and business leaders to attract and help retain the best talent as Modulr. This is a great opportunity to have an impact on the reporting function of a scaling regulated business.
What you will do.
The successful Talent Acquisition Manager will have a track-record in delivering results in a fast-moving scaling business and hence you must be comfortable with change and uncertainty. More specifically the ideal candidate will have experience in:
- Be responsible for end to end recruitment across a variety of roles
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of Talent Acquisition Operations Analysts to support recruitment operations across multiple geographies.
- Oversee the delivery of our attraction strategy, ensuring campaigns are aligned with business needs and resonate with target talent pools.
- Partner with People Partners and business leaders to identify hiring trends, skill gaps, and future workforce needs.
- Own the reporting and analytics function for TA, delivering actionable insights on pipeline health, time-to-hire, DEI metrics, and candidate experience.
- Manage relationships with external suppliers, including recruitment agencies and tech platforms, ensuring cost-effective and high-quality service delivery.
- Champion continuous improvement in recruitment processes, systems (e.g., Greenhouse), and candidate sourcing strategies.
- Actively seek out opportunities for enhancements in our talent acquisition process through the use of automation and AI
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal governance frameworks across all TA activities.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple projects and get involved in recruiting and hiring for role in the business.
What you will need.
- Proven experience leading recruitment teams in a scaling, regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of assessment frameworks and tools, with the ability to evaluate and implement improvements.
- Strategic thinker with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Proficient in ATS platforms (e.g. Greenhouse) and sourcing tools, with a data-first mindset.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving change in a dynamic business landscape.
- Passionate about inclusive hiring practices and building diverse talent pipelines.
