In this role, you will lead a high-performing team and act as the central architect of our marketing automation ecosystem across Salesforce and Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement by Salesforce).Your mission will be to connect lead lifecycle programs to company growth objectives, ensure operational excellence, and enable scalable, compliant marketing systems. This includes driving the adoption of agentic AI technologies to streamline workflows, personalize interactions at scale, and automate decision-making.You combine strategic thinking, strong leadership, and hands-on expertise, acting as a key touchpoint between Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Growth, Sales, and Salesforce & Data teams to align strategy, technology, and messaging that shape the future of our go-to-market operations.
Your TasksStrategy & Leadership
- Define and champion a scalable lifecycle marketing strategy that aligns with business growth, revenue targets, and customer engagement.
- Lead and mentor the Email Marketing & Automation team, ensuring a culture of innovation, ownership, and cross-functional excellence.
- Collaborate closely with Growth, Product Marketing, Demand Gen, and GTM leadership to ensure lifecycle programs are tightly integrated with GTM priorities.
- Represent the function to executive leadership and contribute to marketing planning, budgeting, and tool strategy.
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and other data privacy regulations for all CRM and email marketing activities.
- Architect multi-touch lifecycle journeys across the lead funnel: Acquisition, nurturing, conversion and re-activation.
- Guide strategic direction, and prioritization of campaigns. Ensure strong message-market fit and a consistent experience across all touchpoints in collaboration with other teams.
- Drive experimentation across content, timing, segmentation, and channel orchestration to improve funnel performance.
- Monitor email marketing channel performance, supporting data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Oversee the marketing automation infrastructure (Pardot/Salesforce) including logic design, governance, and integration with the broader martech stack.
- Ensure seamless data flow between systems, including third-party tools (e.g., Livestorm, Learnworlds) and AI-enabled data enrichment platforms.
- Partner with Data and Salesforce teams to ensure reporting accuracy, clean lead pipelines, and scalable system logic.
- Lead documentation of marketing automation architecture, process maps, and compliance protocols (e.g., GDPR, email preferences, opt-in flows).
- Own the automation roadmap and evaluate opportunities within Pardot and adjacent tools—shifting from manual workflows to autonomous, agentic AI-driven systems.
- Define standards and frameworks for incorporating AI into lifecycle programs while maintaining compliance and brand consistency.
- Serve as the internal evangelist for AI-assisted marketing operations and coach the team on ethical, effective implementation.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or marketing automation, with a proven track record of driving customer engagement and retention.
- 3+ years in a leadership or team lead role, managing people and cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Product Marketing, Growth, RevOps, Sales).
- Advanced admin proficiency in Pardot (Salesforce Account Engagement), including hands-on experience in automation rules, lead scoring, segmentation, Engagement Studio, and overall platform management.
- Proficient in Salesforce CRM, including campaign tracking, reporting, sync logic, lead lifecycle management, and CRM-Marketing Automation alignment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven marketing and A/B testing methodologies (e.g. Power BI)
- Experience designing and optimizing data flows and integrations between CRM and third-party tools (e.g. webinar platforms, enrichment tools, analytics, etc.).
- Hands-on expertise in segmentation, lead scoring, A/B testing, compliance (e.g. GDPR, CAN-SPAM, consent management, etc.) and enrichment tools (e.g. Similarweb, DropContact, Clay, Zerobounce, etc.)
- Awareness of the agentic AI landscape and knowledge for integrating automation into workflows and decision-making using tools like n8n, Zapier, or similar
- Proactive self-starter with excellent organizational skills.
