We are currently seeking a skilled Technical Account Manager to join our DSP Operations team in Toronto, reporting directly to the VP of DSP Operations. In this role, you will collaborate closely with IX’s internal teams (Commercial, Product, Engineering, Analytics) and external DSP partners to improve efficiency, optimize revenue, and consistently deliver exceptional client service.

Here’s What You’ll be Doing:

  • Serve as the primary technical support resource for a designated set of DSP accounts, managing day-to-day operations and addressing integration and performance issues.
  • Perform daily health checks, proactively identify systemic challenges, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to swiftly implement solutions.
  • Maintain regular external client communication, anticipating potential challenges, and addressing them promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Independently resolve advanced DSP-related tickets in JIRA, document effective solutions, and develop best-practice guidelines.
  • Lead comprehensive performance analysis for DSP accounts, proactively recommending and implementing strategic configuration adjustments to enhance KPIs.
  • Coordinate quarterly health checks, guaranteeing precise data analysis and insightful reporting for client review sessions.
  • Support the creation and execution of strategic account plans, delivering actionable insights to improve performance outcomes with minimal oversight.
  • Independently drive initiatives from concept to completion, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution.
  • Contribute meaningfully to revenue-generating projects through data-driven analyses, strategic planning, and execution of impactful initiatives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on product features and manage related technical escalations.
  • Generate detailed performance reports and conduct ad-hoc analyses, providing insightful recommendations to support strategic decision-making internally and externally.

Here's What You Need:

  • 3-4 years of experience in AdTech or programmatic advertising preferred (high-potential candidates with relevant skills considered).
  • Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in SQL; familiarity with Kafka or other data mining tools is beneficial.
  • Thorough understanding of OpenRTB protocols and DSP/SSP integration processes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and effectively manage projects.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and capable of thriving both independently and within cross-functional team environments.
  • Outstanding communication skills, emphasizing clarity and conciseness in client interactions.
  • Experience using tools such as JIRA and Looker or similar analytical/reporting platforms is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities and champion automation efforts.
