For our office Operations Team we are looking for a Technical Engineering Advisor with immediate effect to further expand our business. You will support or manage complex and critical projects and work with internal teams, customers and production partners to ensure successful implementation. In addition to working with customers and production partners, you will actively shape your work environment and collaborate with all critical interfaces. Good ideas are implemented quickly at our company and do not have to go through various steering committees or management meetings to be reviewed several times, checked again and then perhaps decided upon. Your working day is exciting and varied, the environment is international.

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing incoming drawings / CAD models  either CNC/Sheet technology or 3d printing 
• Determination of the main necessary technologies required for production
• Providing process recommendations (if necessary)
• Communication in English with internal cross-functional team to gather technical information, sufficient for production price calculation
• Communication in English with external suppliers in order to support technical discussion about a part manufacturability
• Assistance for deals -answering questions from our partners, advising in particular cases, checking of incoming reports/certificates
• Investigations and taking decision of claims - who is guilty, what is the best way to solve

A successful candidate:

• Higher engineering education - metal processing engineer, design engineer or similar
• Experience in the role of engineer from 5 years. Preferably in the field of metalworking / mechanical engineering/ 3d printing
• Expert knowledge of various metalworking methods: turning, milling, CNC machining, electrical discharge machining, sheet metal working - laser, waterjet, plasma cutting, welding, different types of 3d printing
• Knowledge of various metal post-processes: polishing, hardening, heat treatment, anodizing, sanding/blasting, coatings, painting, etc.
• Knowledge of various structural materials and their machining properties: metals, plastics, composites
• Structured, critical thinking combined with strong multicultural communication skills in English
