We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments.

At Applied Intuition, you will:
  • Bridge engineering programs: Serve as the connective tissue between Self-Driving Systems, Vehicle OS, and Special Projects Group, driving execution and alignment across Applied's highest-priority initiatives focusing on commercial, vehicle, and platform partnerships.
  • Drive operational excellence: Establish and refine engineering operating rhythms, including reviews, reporting structures, and performance dashboards. Break down complex, multi-disciplinary challenges into actionable workstreams with clear dependencies and ownership.
  • Enable transparency and decision-making: Define and track key program KPIs to measure velocity and delivery health. Surface top risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs to enable faster, higher-quality decisions across engineering and product leadership.
  • Communicate with clarity: Craft high-quality communications that connect technical detail and business context for executives, customers, and partners, ensuring Applied's execution narrative is consistent and transparent across all stakeholders.
We're looking for someone who has:
  • Technical degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field; MS or PhD preferred
  • Exceptional communicator with natural charisma and assertiveness, able to engage confidently with executives, engineers, and external partners
  • Strong consulting background or experience in strategy, technical operations, or cross-functional program leadership
  • Significant experience leading complex, cross-functional technical or operational programs within engineering, product, or strategy functions at technology-driven companies
  • Demonstrated ability to translate highly technical work into clear execution plans and measurable outcomes
  • Experience in advanced technology domains such as autonomous vehicles, simulation, AI/ML infrastructure, or enterprise software platforms
  • Track record of driving clarity, alignment, and forward progress across fast-moving and ambiguous environments
Nice to have:
  • Background in management consulting or business operations within enterprise software, automotive, defense, or autonomy sectors
  • Familiarity with engineering operating systems, technical governance, or large-scale program management frameworks
  • Direct experience with enterprise customer deployments and managing technical relationships with Fortune 500 companies

Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.

Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.

Please reference the job posting’s subtitle for where this position will be located. For pay transparency purposes, the base salary range for this full-time position in the location listed is: $178,000 - $241,000 USD annually.
