Role: Transcreation Manager
Location: Morrocco (remote working)
About the role:
We are recruiting a Transcreation Manager to work as part of our team and deliver excellent marketing communication in various languages (transcreations). As Transcreation Manager you will be planning and organising translation and transcreation jobs, liaise with the client and in-market-creatives (copywriters, transcreators, translators and post-editors), allocate jobs and track project progress.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for the quality planning and execution of transcreation projects, and other services provided by the Transcreation department.
- Plan your projects at hand in a proactive manner, monitor their progress and solve problems that might arise.
- Liaise with in-market-creatives (copywriters, transcreators, translators, and editors), allocate jobs and track project progress.
- Be a fast thinker and will be able to apply problem-solving techniques.
- Whenever required, you will discuss and negotiate with the client the scope of work and, in agreement with the Senior Transcreation Manager/Transcreation Director, manage and exceed client’s expectations.
- Working directly with the Senior Transcreation Manager / Transcreation
- Director on your own Key Performance Indicators, setting goals to progress within the language services team within OLIVER.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and any areas where you can add value to anything outside of direct responsibilities related to projects.
- Be immersed with the brand and work closely with different stakeholders such as account directors, project managers, designers and copywriters.
- Execute administrational tasks such as PO and raising sales orders.
- Perform quality-check at different project stages.
- Build, manage and maintain translation memories and glossaries.
What you need to be great in this role:
- Minimum 3 years working experience in Translation.
- University degree in languages, marketing, business or related fields.
- Experience in CAT tools and Machine Translation/AI.
- Ability to multi-task and a keen eye for detail.
- Native speaker of a language other than English is highly desirable.
