We’re looking for a collaborative and results-oriented Treasury Manager to join our Treasury team to focus on investments, foreign currency risk management, debt, and insurance.

As the Treasury Manager, you will bring your experience, strengths, and passion to build a best-in-class Treasury function supporting the company goals and objectives. You will be part of an impactful Finance team, delivering economic value and managing company risk for Elastic as it continues to grow! You’ll also engage with a diverse range of Elasticians globally. An ideal candidate is curious, flexible, constantly learning, and adapting to change.

What you will be doing:
  • Drive investment management strategies that align with liquidity forecast and investment policy guidelines
  • Oversee portfolios with external asset managers including review of performance in relation to key metrics, prepare management reporting, and perform risk analysis
  • Manage and develop strong relationships with key internal and external business partners including Accounting, Tax, Legal, and FP&A as well as insurance brokers and investment managers
  • Analyze and report on foreign currency exposures and the impact to financial statements
  • Make recommendations and implement programs to mitigate FX risk
  • Maintain compliance with operational and SOX controls, and prepare deliverables for internal and external audit
  • Responsible for external disclosures (10K/Q) related to investments and FX, and support various monthly and quarter end reports
  • Lead or support projects and initiatives the bring efficiency and scale through operational improvement and automation
  • Manage insurance renewals and interact with brokers on regular requests and questions
What you bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
  • 5+ years of experience in Treasury with an international company
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinker who can build data driven recommendations
  • Ability to work independently and get results in a fast paced environment
  • Experience with corporate cash investments and managing external portfolio managers
  • Proven track record of discovering and implementing solutions that facilitate scale in the Treasury organization
  • Treasury systems experience including TMS and other FinTechs such as FXall, ICD, Clearwater, Bloomberg as well as ERP system experience
  • Ability to build effective work relationships at all levels of the organization, influence behavior, and lead change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary.  This role does not have a variable compensation component.  

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.  In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below. 

These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.  

An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.

Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program.  Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.
