Web Infrastructure Engineer - HU
This role is located in Budapest, Hungary - We are a hybrid work environment and are in the office 3+ days/per week.

As a Web Developer you’ll play a vital role in building and maintaining our web properties. You’ll work cross-functionally with engineering, product/product marketing, design, and marketing to optimize Tulip.co, Library.tulip.co, and other web assets. You’ll work on the cloud infrastructure in AWS for a variety of web technologies including Craft CMS, Payload CMS, React, Remix.js, Postgres, MongoDB and more. You will collaborate on quarterly and annual planning, roadmapping, and wireframe testing.

What skills do I need?
- 3–5+ years of experience in HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), and JavaScript.
- Proven experience with:
- Front-End: React or similar UI frameworks.
- Backend: Node.js, PHP, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Cloud/DevOps: AWS, CI/CD, and IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- CMS: Experience integrating headless CMS platforms.
- Experience building REST APIs and managing authentication systems.
- Proficiency with Git and modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with TypeScript.
- Experience with Airflow and dbt.
- Experience with SSO/SAML.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, reusable, and accessible features using modern JavaScript libraries (e.g., React, Remix.js).
- Integrate and manage our headless CMS platforms (Craft, Payload) and APIs (REST/GraphQL), translating mockups into functional solutions.
- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS, including databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; perform code reviews to maintain high standards.
- Optimize web properties for performance, SEO, and accessibility (WCAG).
- Manage monitoring, debugging, and deployment/disaster recovery processes.
