Okta is looking for a highly organized & detail-oriented self-starter to join our Business Technology team as a Workday Associate Product Analyst. The Workday Associate Product Analyst will be responsible for HRIS (Workday) support in all facets, with a primary focus on supporting the People team with technical support on all Workday functions.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor ServiceNow queue, triage requests, and daily transaction processing
- Tier 1 & Tier 2 support for all Workday tickets
- Partner with People Operations on conducting data and process audits
- Provide Workday support to Okta employees and respond to requests
- Assist with testing of Workday projects including: development of testing scripts, execution of test scenarios, and support testers when necessary.
- Create, run, and distribute reports from Workday
- Partner with People Operations in documenting and maintaining HRIS processes and reference guides
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and propose solutions
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including HR, Finance, IT, Payroll, and business managers
- Assist in the processing of transfers, promotions, salary adjustments, and new hires
- Participate in requirements gathering and documentation. Develop use case definitions for techno-functional initiatives under the supervision of a senior member.
- Perform the following on an engagement in partnership with your manager/team: understand business requirements, configure the Workday solution, demonstrate the configurations through the development of testing systems, assist the business in testing the Workday solution
- Manage Workday upgrades and implement new and revised functionality within Workday.
Skills & Education:
- Attention to detail and process oriented
- Prior experience in a Human Resources discipline and/or with an HRIS application
- Desire to pursue a systems-based career
- Workday systems experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, and/or GSuite applications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to drive issues to completion
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment
- Ability to work with confidential information & must consistently exercise good judgment
- Ability and desire to learn about and expand your expertise to encompass new areas of Workday
- Problem solving and solutioning mindset
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
