Workday Integration Engineer, People Technology

We’re looking for a Workday Integrations Engineer to join our People Technology team. In this role, you’ll build scalable integrations and reporting solutions that support Lyft’s evolving HR and IT needs. You’ll work closely with partners across People, IT, and Security teams to enhance enterprise systems that drive productivity, compliance, and employee experience.
Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain robust Workday integrations using tools like Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and PECI.
- Develop advanced reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer to surface actionable insights for People teams.
- Partner with stakeholders across HR, IT, and Security to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure smooth implementation and adoption.
- Lead continuous improvements across Workday systems by identifying automation opportunities and improving integration efficiency.
- Support system upgrades, enhancements, and compliance efforts (e.g., SOC and SOX), serving as the integration lead for People Systems.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field—or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience developing and supporting Workday integrations, with strong knowledge of Studio, EIBs, Core/Cloud Connectors, and PECI.
- Proficiency in XSLT and related data transformation tools, plus experience in building complex reports and dashboards.
- Functional understanding of core HR processes and systems, with the ability to align technical solutions with business needs.
- Proven ability to work with sensitive data, ensuring privacy and compliance across HR technology landscapes.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. The expected base pay range for this position in the San Francisco area is $108,000 - $135,000. Salary ranges are dependent on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience and geographic location. Range is not inclusive of potential equity offering, bonus or benefits.
