We are seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive the expansion of our Enterprise and Strategic customer base within the Financial Services Vertical in Japan. As an individual contributor, you'll focus on enlarging Elastic's presence in known accounts while cultivating new business opportunities. Your primary goal will be ensuring effective utilization of Elastic cloud solutions across our customers' organizations. What You Will Be Doing:

  • Overseeing the entire sales process to meet key performance metrics, emphasizing new business sales and expanding existing accounts
  • Creating awareness and stimulating demand for Elastic solutions within new Enterprise accounts within the Financial Services Vertical
  • Acting as an advocate for our Open Source offerings, showcasing the capabilities of our commercial features
  • Identifying diverse use cases to streamline user workflows
  • Collaborating across Elastic functions to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Engaging customers to spot new business opportunities, navigating through the sales cycle, and closing intricate transactions
  • Crafting a robust business plan leveraging community, customer, and partner ecosystems to foster significant Elastic growth within your accounts

What You Bring With You:

  • A proven track record in successfully selling SaaS subscriptions, especially within the Financial Services Vertical, with demonstrated quota achievement and strong customer endorsements
  • Deep understanding and experience in selling solutions related to Enterprise Search, Analytics, Logging, Security, APM, and Cloud
  • Experience selling to Mega banks and insurance companies in Japan.
  • Ability to establish credibility with Developers and Executives alike, Working experience with large SIer (System Integrators) in Japan.
  • Proactive approach to building demand in the region
  • Proficiency in SFDC for accurate forecasting and predictability
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, Japanese: Native proficiency
