You will…

• Work alongside our Senior Accountants and play a critical role in the month-end closure procedures; preparing & posting journals, BS reconciliations, P/L variance analysis
• Prepare and maintain monthly reconciliations, resolving discrepancies and collaborating across functions (both finance and non-finance) 
• As a key player in the accounting process, recommend how to improve efficiency around month end close and day to day finance operations
• Handle Oracle reporting functionality by building reports and follow requests from our Global head office in Europe
• Business partner with a number of internal stakeholders, such as Marketing, production operations and human resources
• Manage capital expenditure maintenance for all fixed assets across our production facility
• Assist throughout the half-year and year-end audit processes through providing necessary support, answering queries and assisting with financial statement preparation
• Work on ad-hoc projects alongside the wider finance team (commercial finance, compliance, payments, accounts receivable), including ideations for process improvements, new initiatives & business cases impacting the finance team

You have…

• Passion, drive and fantastic communication skills
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance and Part Qualified CPA/CA
• A working knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts and standards
• Previous experience of working in a fast-paced business and a role which involves offering business critical analysis
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets (experience working with large data sets)
• A keen interest in financial systems with exposure to an ERP system

Duration: 12 month Fixed Term Contract
