What you'll be doing:

As a Full Stack Javascript Developer, you’ll design, develop, and maintain new features utilising modern technologies including Node, Typescript, React, and Docker.

  • Working with the Lead Developer and cross functional teams in decision making and planning to support product growth
  • Build well-architected backend Node services, we’re open to REST or GraphQL
  • Design new features and seeing them through to completion, utilising Node, Express and Typescript.
  • Be comfortable helping with our React frontend when needed
  • Write end to end/unit/integration tests for your code
  • Ensure code quality though merge requests
  • Write clean, well-tested and refactored code
  • Contribute towards the technical direction of our products

Requirements:

  • Strong backend development and design experience with modern Javascript (ES6+), Node.js and Typescript
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs or GraphQL
  • Experience with ORM libraries, we’re exploring Knex + Objection
  • Frontend experience working with React, HTML5 and CSS
  • You have experience with automation testing tools such as Jest and Cypress
  • You’re collaborative with great communication skills
  • Any experience with AWS is a plus, but not required
  • Experience with Microservices beneficial

We have a 2 stage interview process; if we feel your experience looks like right for our team you’ll be invited for a video interview to meet with our Director of Engineering, followed by a face to face meeting at our office to meet the team and take a look around.
