We are an early-stage fintech, developing a platform based around an A.I. & Open banking core.

We are looking for a Technical Co-founder, who has aspirations to grow into the CTO of one of the U.K’s hottest fintech’s. We are a greenfield project where you are given the autonomy to stamp your mark on the project, as you will be responsible for shaping the technology vision of our venture.

Having already engaged with the FCA Innovation HUB, validated the concept with end-users, established commercial relationships, and signed contracts with multiple service and product partners. We have shaped the first version of our value-added proposition and started our proof of concept development, all within our first 60 days.

We require a Technical Co-founder to think outside of the box, challenge conventional wisdom and the commercial strategy that we have built, to decisively move towards achieving our business goals

Who has experience in Open Banking, A.I & Machine learning, ideally coupled with a solid banking, financial services, payments, lending, and or fintech background.

As our Technical Co-founder you will be responsible for:

Taking charge of platform development and making key decisions on technical architecture. Ensuring that the systems architecture and infrastructure is scalable. Have oversight of all aspects of engineering including technical strategy, best practice implementation, and technology stacks. Contribute to the development and design of our web platform, mobile app, and UI/UX. Deliver the MVP, enabling us to test, iterate, and serve our early adopters. Manage all of our open banking & API integrations with our product partners and service providers.

You will already possess and have a solid experience with the following skillset:

Technical knowledge and leadership. Ability to communicate at a higher technical level and diluted to layman’s terms. Project and product management. Delivering and ideating an MVP with a track record of delivering well-engineered products. The ability to optimize software and bringing new software projects to market. Thrive in uncertainty and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Operational excellence and delivery. Mentorship and coaching of junior engineers. A sense of entrepreneurship and future anticipation of what we ship to market.

What we are offering:

Equity: 10-20% based on experience and track record. Salary: Following our next funding round. The option to start working on a part or full-time basis. Future plans for international offices for you to be based from. From January 2021, you will have x2 junior software engineers as part of your founding tech team. After 6 months we will be taking them on as full-time apprentices, where we will help to map out their long-term careers with us. (Government kickstart program) The opportunity to build a next-generation consumer banking platform. After our seed raise, you will be expected to shape and build out your technology department.

You will be part of the management/founding team and get actively involved in the strategic decisions. In the role’s infancy, it would be completely remote with hopefully a bi-weekly meeting.
