At Planet A Foods we are rethinking supply chains. Our first product ChoViva - a chocolate alternative based on sustainable sunflower seeds instead of cocoa is redefining the chocolate world. And ChoViva is proudly made in Pilsen and exported into the world.

To bring our vision to life and scale our production, we are looking for a CapEx Project Manager. Someone ready to take ownership of critical projects, drive innovation on the factory floor, and help us shape the future of food.

A Taste of What to Expect

  • Own the Project End-to-End: Manage the full lifecycle of a CapEx project.  From initial planning to commissioning and start-up.
  • Manage Contractors & Vendors: Coordinate external partners with clarity and accountability to keep progress smooth and aligned.
  • Plan Smart, Track Tight: Oversee resources, timelines, and budgets with precision.
  • Connect Teams Across Functions: Bridge production, QA, R&D, Safety, and Finance to keep all stakeholders aligned and informed.
  • Drive Decisions: Make high-impact calls based on technical, operational, and business priorities and own the outcomes.
  • Coordinate and Communicate: Report progress clearly and consistently, while managing shifting needs and change requests along the way.
  • Deliver and Launch: Lead commissioning and start-up, ensuring everything runs on time and to spec.

The Perfect Recipe of Skills & Experience

  • Proven Project Leadership: A solid understanding of the project lifecycle from scope to execution, ideally with hands-on experience managing at least 1-2 CapEx projects
  • The ability to deep-dive into technical complexities while never losing sight of the broader strategic objectives
  • A clear, confident communicator who can effortlessly navigate cross-functional teams, connect disparate ideas, and drive progress forward
  • Skilled in identifying and mitigating potential roadblocks, with a proven ability to anticipate challenges and act decisively
  • Sharp prioritization and time management skills that ensure efficient workflows and continuous momentum
  • Familiarity with supplier networks in the power industry is a plus
  • Comfortable working within regulated environments; experience with food safety standards and ATEX compliance is a significant advantage
