Position Overview:

The Content Marketing Manager sits in the Global Demand Generation Team and supports the wider Marketing Department across a number of areas. This role is principally responsible for building, managing and driving Intelex’s overall content strategy in line with the global campaign strategy. Writing and editing campaign material (namely Infographics, Blogs and Insight Reports) for use at various stages of the purchasing funnel will comprise one element of the role, whilst a significant responsibility within the role falls to managing freelancers and third-party content writers. To ensure tracking and optimization, setting content KPIs and owning metric tracking via analysis of content performance will be an integral part of the role and there would be an expectation around proactive agility in owning the creation, delivery and use of campaign centric content as aligned to different stages of the buyer journey. Finally, this role will be responsible for contributing to broader content efforts including (but not limited to): case studies, PR pieces, outbound email copy, independent research reports, internal copywriting requests and third party industry publications.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

Campaign Content Strategy

  • Own the content strategy to support monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing campaigns.
  • Work closely with the Director of Marketing Campaign Strategy to ensure alignment between campaign direction and content delivery.
  • Consult as required with internal and external SMEs to determine market trends, technology innovations, and customer requirements.
Content Development
  • Create industry agnostic content aligned to the campaign strategy to support brand awareness and generation of pipeline; this would include awareness, consideration and decision-making content pieces.
  • Create compelling and authoritative ICP-based content in the form of Blogs, Insight Reports, Infographics, and other content types as needed to support campaign delivery.
  • Create customer case studies and generate reports from customer advisory panels.
  • Work cross-departmentally to ensure content pieces are being communicated internally and used effectively by wider Marketing Department; this will involve collaboration with the Digital, Product Marketing and Brand Teams.
Ownership of Content Deployment
  • Manage the end-to-end process of proposing, creating, hosting and deploying content pieces; this will require management of workflows in Intelex’s internal sharepoint system.
Content Analysis
  • Set content KPIs and own metric tracking to determine performance and identify attributes of successful content; use findings to put forward recommendation for future content.
Freelancer Management
  • Onboard, direct and give feedback to freelancers who will support in content generation; you will act as their POC for Intelex and will be responsible for signing off on freelancer-written content pieces ahead of launch.
  • Raise POs for freelancer work and maintain budget sheet.
Customer-Facing Content Review
  • Act as the final editorial review of customer-facing content across all Intelex channels.
  • Maintain a process for content requests to be inputted and managed.
ABM Campaign & Content Supportrt
  • Advise Global ABM Manager on content pieces in initial scoping of quarterly campaigns, support with ‘in life’ campaign contnet optimization, and act as the final internal POC in reviewing ABM copy ahead of deployment.
  • Maintain a process for content requests to be inputted and managed.
Blog Ownership
  • Oversee all content creation for the Intelex blog, ensuring incorporation of relevant keywords, links to Intelex landing pages and appropriate CTAs.
Brand Voice for Written Content
  • Deploy and revise the brand voice across all customer-facing content types. This includes maintaining a “Voice of Intelex” brand document for internal and external content producers and working closely with the Brand Team to implement consistently.
Organisational Alignment:
  • This role reports directly into the Director of Marketing Campaign Strategy, Global
Qualifications:

  • A proficient awareness of the EHS marketplace and good knowledge of standards, legislation, and regulations as they relate to EHS across North America and EMEA.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills in reviewing content performance and proposing remedial action where needed.
  • A self-sufficient approach to management of time, workload, dependencies, and internal communication.
  • Customer Obsessed: regularly goes to gemba to understand customer needs and experiences and creates campaign content to meet those needs.

  • Build Extraordinary Teams: proactively build, guide and upskill a group of freelancers and third party content writers to optimise Intelex’s pool of skilled content generators.
Experience:
  • 5+ years in B2B content writing, ideally with a background in SaaS or EHS content writing
  • Strategic B2B content planning and execution experience, preferably in a B2B or technology related industry

Education:
  • Bachelors degree or relevant experience in a related field.
Travel:
