Chewy is seeking a DEI Programs Intern to join the HR team in Plantation, Florida. The scope of work will have various aspects of Talent Acquisition and provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion programming efforts at Chewy.  

Internship Timeframe: June 3rd – August 9th, 2024 (must be available for full duration).

Qualified Students: Rising Junior

 

What You'll Do:

  • Contribute and support the Talent Acquisition DEI team with recruiting related projects and event programming/planning.
  • Receive cross-functional exposure to Team Member Resource Groups (TMRGs) and participate in launching TMRG events June-August.
  • Participate in the creation of Talent Acquisition and Hiring Manager Enablement Training.
  • Function as a liaison to help strengthen partnerships with HBCU & HSI schools.

What You'll Need:

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate school program with an anticipated graduation date in Spring 2026.
  • Interest in HR, Talent and Inclusion, Organizational Psychology, or Learning & Development.
  • Ability to accelerate time through strong organizational skills and program management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with timebound projects.
  • Have a passion for process improvement, be self-motivated and able to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • MS Office Suite Experience.
  • Current permanent U.S. work authorization required.
