Elastic is seeking a dedicated SkillBridge intern to join our DEI and Elastic Cares team! This opportunity is open to military personnel transitioning into their first civilian job, offering a unique internship experience within the last 180 days of their service. We are looking for an intern who can start before August.

A Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) intern who will gain experience collaborating across teams and gain exposure to all things DEI and Elastic Cares (think, philanthropic goodness engagement – or the “S” in ESG: Environmental, Social and Governance field.

This role requires an employee-centric, proactive, positive and detail focused individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced team-oriented support model. This person must be energetic and friendly, while projecting a professional and calm demeanor in interactions with employees and external organizations we work with.

In addition to supporting the DEI and Elastic Cares team, the intern will work with colleagues from other teams within the Human Resources team, as well as employee leaders of organizationally supported Elastician Resource Groups (ERGs) aligned to diversity of affinity, allyship or interest.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Helping to provide logistics support for virtual events, researching organizations and speakers, and scheduling of DEI and Elastic Cares events
  • Conducting research to gain and maintain awareness about DEI, ESG/Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) trends; drafting summaries and creating slide presentations
  • Helping to monitor internal communications regarding DEI and Elastic Cares (e.g., Slack channels, e-mail, etc.)
  • Assisting with project coordination and management and tracking of deliverables
  • Collaborate with cross functional team members to help drive awareness and participation in DEI/ERG and Elastic Cares programming, events and initiatives
