About the Role
We’re looking for a Global R2R Team Lead to oversee our international Record to Report (R2R) operations across three locations – Sofia, São Paulo, and Santiago – and ensure the accurate and timely closing of our financials. This person will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity of our financial reporting, leading a team of 10 skilled professionals, and driving automation and continuous improvement in key processes.
You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with key teams including Controlling, Procurement, Logistics, Tax, Treasury, Audit, ERP, and others. Your leadership will be vital in a dynamic, fast-paced environment as we scale and innovate.
What You’ll Do-
Lead and develop a global team of R2R accountants across three continents

Coordinate all month-end and year-end financial closing activities

Oversee critical accounting processes: payroll, inventory, intercompany transactions, and fixed assets

Collaborate with auditors to ensure smooth and timely delivery of audited financials

Drive process improvements, automation, and integration efforts (e.g., payroll posting automation, transfer pricing automation)

Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and implement best practices in financial reporting

Act as the subject matter expert for R2R and general ledger operations

Maintain and improve the reconciliation and reporting quality across the group

Partner with key business stakeholders to ensure accurate accounting of new initiatives

8+ years of finance experience in progressively senior roles

Proven track record in leading international accounting teams

Deep understanding of accounting standards (IFRS/GAAP) and audit processes

ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification

Strong experience in month-end closing, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and payroll accounting

Experience working with external auditors and managing annual financial statements

Fluent English and excellent communication skills

A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive change

Experience working in fintech or the financial services sector

Experience in automation projects and ERP integrations

Familiarity with the startup or scale-up environment
