To accelerate our growth, Trustpilot is looking for an experienced Chartered Accountant (ICAEW/ACA/CA) to join us as our Group Consolidation and Reporting Accountant responsible for delivering fast, accurate, and insightful numbers for our global stakeholders to support and inform the business. This role is an ideal opportunity for a first mover from a Big 4/Audit firm to join Trustpilot in industry.

 

What you’ll be doing:

  • Preparing monthly group consolidation under IFRS 
  • Preparation of group primary statements along side reporting packs and related notes
  • Preparing supporting analysis as required to support the group consolidation e.g. quasi equity analysis and reconciliation 
  • Liaise with the Global accounting team and other stakeholders for monthly, quarterly reporting, processing topside entries on the group consolidation system (Workday Adaptive)
  • Preparing half-yearly and yearly PLC related reporting to LSE
  • Co-ordinate in planning the half yearly and statutory reporting cycle and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Promote broader investor reporting and disclosure, coordinating input from multiple stakeholders, timelines etc
  • Advise on technical accounting matters, staying on top of relevant IAS requirements and disclosures
  • Liaising with the Group external auditors on necessary review/audit of the Group Financial Statements
  • Working alongside FP&A team to provide financial analysis to leadership
  • Providing input into presentations for the Board of Directors and Management
  • Liaise with the legal entity controllers to ensure uniformity of accounting policies. 

 

Who you are:

  • Relevant qualification (ACA, CA or equivalent) with experience in financial reporting, either from an audit perspective within a large tier-1 audit firm or within a listed organization at group level
  • Experience with international groups and related accounting matters
  • Experience of preparing and or auditing large multi-currency Groups under IFRS
  • Hands on working knowledge of accounting standards (IFRS and UK GAAP), corporate governance/ reporting and applications of these standards
  • Experience preparing multi-entity and multi-currency consolidation
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, willingness to learn and configure new systems
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to work well in a busy, collaborative environment towards tight deadlines, both within a team and independantly.
  • Experience in financial analysis
  • Motivated, self-starter
  • Desire to take early responsibility and work with a wide cross-section of finance & non-finance stakeholders globally.
  • Structured with good attention to detail
  • Experienced in building positive relationships and having interpersonal skills
  • Proven capacity to prioritize tasks and maintain multiple responsibilities
  • Thrives on cerebral tasks, enjoys problem solving and being resourceful
