YOUR MISSION

The way we manage our company is built on the belief that by giving a “WOW!” service to our clients, we can change the delivery market. Glovo is a hyperlocal marketplace featuring the trendiest places in each city and delivering their products in less than 30 minutes.

We’re looking for a strategic and data-driven professional ready to take on the challenge of achieving best-in-class operations and delivery times in complex markets. With access to unlimited data and a world-class team, you’ll turn insights into real impact for our couriers and partners.

This is a key leadership role within Glovo Croatia, reporting directly to the General Manager, with the mission of shaping strategy, driving operational excellence, and ensuring Glovo sets the standard in delivery performance.

 

THE JOURNEY

  • Drive the strategic agenda of operations in Croatia, identifying growth opportunities, shaping long-term plans, and ensuring alignment with the overall company vision by building strong cross-functional collaboration with local and global teams, as well as key external stakeholders, to unlock opportunities and deliver sustainable growth
  • Analyse data obsessively to identify trends and build successful implementation strategies for our operations, improving and contributing to the upgrading of the delivery time, the efficiency of the couriers, as well as the improvement of the price per order and courier earnings
  • Manages a team of professionals, participates in their employment, training and achievement of professional goals;
  • Understands, is committed to and manages supply chain status improvement to ensure operational excellence and excellent customer experience
  • Collaborate closely with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service delivery
  • Assessment of strategic opportunities, performance of a wide range of quantitative and qualitative analyses
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of global business through thinking outside the box and creating new best practices
  • Team Leadership & Culture: Develop and mentor team leads, fostering a high-performance culture and growing top talent.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • 5+ years total professional experience, preferably in ops/strategy consulting or in an operations/logistic company
  • 3+ years in a managerial role - You should be able to motivate and develop teams
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics or similar preferred
  • The skills to manage the big picture and the smallest details
  • You´re always on top of your deadlines and you demonstrate to be an organization freak
  • Track record of success delivering and implementing new solutions/processes/standardization
  • Experience in KPIs tracking and creation and optimization expertise
  • Problem solver, data-driven decision-making with an analytical approach
  • SQL knowledge and proficiency in Excel are a plus
  • Ability to manage small work teams and lead changes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • C1+ English and local speaker is a must
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
  • Proactive team member with the will to help to achieve common goals
  • Capacity to work at a fast pace within an ambitious Group
