YOUR MISSION
We are looking for a world-class Data Analytics Intern to join and be part of the People Analytics team as an owner of insights and data-informed people decisions. You will have an incredible opportunity to drive impact within People Analytics and bring a high level of rigor.
THE JOURNEY
- Observe, identify, and solve analytical problems in the People department: issues include, but are not limited to, unifying data sources, improving data quality, enhancing the accuracy of measurements and optimizing workflows and processes
- Take ownership of reporting on the Employee Performance, Engagement, Diversity, and Inclusion metrics and KPIs and supporting key business analytics in the department
- Support on maintaining current tools and reports, primarily using Excel (Google Sheets), Workday, Amazon Redshift, and Python
- Use your analytical skills and technical mindset to solve inefficiencies within the People teams and assist them in making data-informed decisions
- Write SQL queries in Starburst and Amazon Redshift
- Automate reports and processes
- Communicate with stakeholders who come from non-analytical backgrounds and ensure that the relevant teams are aligned
- Contribute to raising the bar of analytics usage and understanding within the People department. You will have the opportunity to make a great impact on the internal teams and the company's success through People Analytics
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or any technological domain
- Passion for analytics: you enjoy deep-diving into problems to uncover root causes and drive improvements
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in SQL
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Pandas or Numpy (Python)
- Experience with reporting tools such as Looker, Tableau or Google Data Studio, is a plus
- Familiarity with HR trends and People Analytics is a plus
- Strong communication skills with non-technical stakeholders
- Hands-on attitude, proactive, organized and obsessed with details
- Good communication skills in English
