The Team:

In our AR team at Celonis, we prioritize the timely collection of payments, fostering client relationships, and maintaining financial integrity. Much like Celonis’ Execution Applications tailored for specific business needs, we optimize our daily operations. Automation through Action Flows is key to driving value realization, mirroring our commitment to efficiency and excellence.

The Role:

As a QA Engineer at Celonis India Pvt. Ltd., you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Accounts Receivable(AR) product.

The work you’ll do:

  • Develop and Execute Test Plans: Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure product quality.

  • Manual and Automated Testing: Conduct manual testing as well as develop and run automated tests using appropriate tools and frameworks.

  • Bug Identification and Tracking: Identify, record, document, and track bugs thoroughly. Collaborate with developers to resolve issues.

  • Performance and Load Testing: Perform performance and load testing to ensure systems can handle high traffic and usage.

  • Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to verify that existing functionality is not adversely affected by new features or bug fixes.

  • Quality Metrics and Reporting: Generate and analyze quality metrics and reports to drive improvements in product quality.

  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and testing processes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with development, product management, and operations teams to understand requirements, design test strategies, and deliver high-quality products.

  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for quality assurance and testing.

The qualifications you need:

    • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience in quality assurance and testing.

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    • Technical Skills:

      • Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

      • Experience with both manual and automated testing.

      • Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).

      • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript).

      • Experience with performance and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).

      • Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.

    • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

    • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

    • Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:
    • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

    • Good to have: Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
