Role:  Resource Manager

Location:  London

We are seeking an experienced Resource Manager to join our dynamic creative studio. You'll be the central hub for resource allocation, working closely with Project Managers to ensure optimal staffing across multiple concurrent projects. This fast-paced environment requires someone who thrives under pressure and can juggle competing priorities while maintaining excellent client delivery standards. Experience in CGI/VFX studios is highly valued as you'll understand the unique challenges of creative project timelines and specialist skill requirements.

• Manage resource allocation across multiple projects and teams
• Collaborate with Project Managers to understand project requirements and timelines
• Process and prioritise resource requests from PMs efficiently
• Forecast resource needs and identify potential bottlenecks
• Maintain accurate resource planning systems and databases
• Coordinate with department heads to understand team availability and capacity
• Support recruitment efforts by identifying skill gaps and resource shortages
• Monitor project progress and adjust resource allocation as needed
• Provide regular reporting on resource utilisation and project status

• Previous experience in resource management within a fast-paced studio environment
• Strong understanding of project workflows and creative production processes
• CGI/VFX studio experience highly preferred
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in resource management software and project planning tools
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Experience working closely with Project Managers and understanding their needs
• Proactive problem-solving approach
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements
