Primary Purpose

The Senior HR Advisor role is to provide proactive advice, guidance and coaching to influence and support the operations of the Auckland Distribution Centre. The position focuses on ensuring HR strategies, policies, procedures, and practices are in place that are aligned with company needs, add value, and create an engaged group of high performing employees. This position is responsible for the delivery and coordination of all ER matters at the Auckland Distribution Centre.

You will…

Core Deliverables & Employee Culture Activities

  • Lead the effective implementation of HelloFresh Group HR strategies and procedures and review continuously.
  • Develop local Distribution Centre policies and roll out to the business.
  • Create a high-performance culture by driving succession planning and performance management.
  • Ensure that the workplace environment is a place where employees feel safe, motivated, happy, and valued.
  • Ensure the HFG values are embedded across the Distribution Centre.

Employment Relations & Employee Behaviour.

  • Coach supervisors and managers to be better people leaders; influencing their ability across legislation, policy application and employment relations.
  • Take a lead role with investigations, disciplinary issues, and grievances.
  • Manage all aspects of employee relationship issues confidentially and discretely, including grievance procedures and disciplinary procedures by providing general advice and guidance when required e.g., formal disciplinary meetings.

Growth & Foodie Reviews

  • Ensure the annual Foodie performance review process is completed within set timeframes and coordinate locally.
  • Coach supervisors / leaders with effective coaching and feedback, to ensure they have clarity and direction regarding performance expectations, to ensure that we succeed in our operational and strategic objective.

HR Analytics

  • Assist with the development of HR Analytics and update site Leadership and HelloFresh Group Leadership teams.

Recruitment

  • Coordinate with agencies and facilitate the recruitment process.
  • Assess and select candidates and organise and participate in interviews ensuring feedback is provided throughout the recruitment life cycle.
  • Measure employee retention and turnover rates to suggest possible improvement measures.

Employee Engagement What’s Cooking

  • Support with the roll out of What's Cooking and local Distribution Centre Engagement activities
  • Analyse survey results and provide feedback to leadership & team members.
  • Assist leaders in developing action plans post-survey.
  • Plan employee social events and team building activities.
  • Undertake any special projects and ad hoc assignments as requested by the HelloFresh Group Leadership Team
  • Occupational Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety (H&S) policy and HelloFresh Group internal practices

You have/are…

  • Experience in HR & Recruitment within a warehouse/FMCG/manufacturing environment and a desire to gain experience in a fast- growing organisation.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of NZ employment relations and local legislation.
  • Able to manage multiple stakeholders.
  • A “people person” with great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to deal with diverse cultures.
  • Strong affinity to the HelloFresh brand and culture.
  • High levels of integrity and confidentiality due working with sensitive HR data.
  • A great amount of energy, enthusiasm, commitment and a can-do flexible attitude.
  • Embrace change, challenges and can work autonomously.

Qualifications

  • Relevant Human Resources Degree or equivalent.
  • Ongoing professional and personal development.

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar role.
  • Microsoft Office & GoogleDrive skills.
  • WorkDay HRIS & ADP RealTime experience.

Duration: Permanent full time role. You must have the right to work full-time in Australia/New Zealand.
