About the Role
We are looking for a highly organised and strategic SEO Content Manager to join our team. In this role, you will act as the bridge between the SEO department and content creators, managing the end-to-end process of content production—from brief creation to final quality assurance. You’ll ensure that all content aligns with our global and local SEO strategies, is delivered on time, and upholds the highest standards of quality and brand consistency.
Key Responsibilities
-
Collaborate closely with the SEO team to develop content strategies tailored to global and local market needs.
-
Create clear, comprehensive content briefs based on SEO insights and brand guidelines.
-
Coordinate with agencies and freelance writers to ensure timely and accurate content delivery.
-
Perform thorough quality assurance on all content, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices, tone of voice, brand standards, and overall quality.
-
Maintain a content production calendar and ensure all deadlines are met.
-
Support localisation efforts by tailoring briefs and content requirements to regional market needs.
-
Track content performance and collaborate with SEO analysts to refine strategy over time.
-
Develop and execute the content strategy, ensuring alignment with marketing and business objectives while maintaining a consistent and compelling brand voice.
-
Lead the development of high-quality English-language content for the company blog, including thought leadership articles, customer success stories, industry insights, and product-driven content.
-
Act as the editor-in-chief for non-English language content, overseeing translations, adapting global messaging for local audiences, and ensuring consistency and quality.
-
Source, onboard, and manage freelance and agency writers from different regions, assigning content briefs to ensure regionally relevant and high-impact storytelling.
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SEO, product marketing, PR, social media, regional marketing teams) to develop content and content plans that support key initiatives, product launches, and audience engagement.
-
Optimize content for SEO, organic reach, and engagement, leveraging data and industry best practices to enhance visibility and performance.
-
Develop editorial guidelines and best practices for both internal and external contributors, ensuring consistency and clarity across all content touchpoints.
-
Stay ahead of industry trends, audience preferences, and competitive landscapes to proactively identify new content opportunities and formats.
-
Work closely with localization teams to ensure culturally nuanced and market-specific messaging across all global content.
Requirements
-
3+ years of experience in content management, SEO content production, or digital marketing.
-
Strong understanding of SEO principles, content strategy, and keyword research.
-
Comprehensive knowledge of SEO, content performance analytics, and proficiency in aligning content efforts with business KPIs and audience engagement strategies.
-
Excellent project management and organisational skills.
-
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to content quality.
-
Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar.
-
Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across different time zones and markets.
-
A proven track record of high-quality content production, from ideation to execution, with a strong portfolio of blog articles, thought leadership pieces, and digital content.
-
Strong editorial background with experience in both writing and editing for global audiences.
-
Experience managing a network of external writers, agencies, or contributors, ensuring quality and efficiency in content production.
-
Ability to craft compelling stories that translate complex topics into engaging and accessible narratives.
-
Exceptional attention to detail, editorial integrity, and brand consistency in all written materials.
-
Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-border, and multicultural environment.
-
Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively across teams.
-
Native-level English fluency; additional languages are a plus but not required.
