Talent Management Associate
**This is an on-site position (Monday-Friday) located in our fulfillment center in Romeoville, IL

Our best-in-class Talent team is looking for an early career Human Resources professional to help achieve this mission within our Global Supply Chain organization.
Your role will be an influential and integral member of the Talent team, tasked with sharing HR knowledge and guiding stakeholders through policy and procedure to reach employment recommendations. You are considered a key point of reference to support the employee life-cycle at Wayfair, facilitating employee concerns, inquiries, and needs with their managers. Across various levels of operational leadership, you will engage to train leadership roles on the application of Wayfair’s policies and achieve consistency in our practices for culture, safety and performance.
The role requires understanding and driving federal and state/provincial employment laws, to remain compliant under employee labor laws. The ability to analyze employee trends and data will aid in the development of new initiatives and support strategic workstreams within Talent.
What You'll Do
- Review and analyze data to identify trends, provide insights and make recommendations to stakeholders and cross-functional partners to improve business results.
- Work cross-functionally to drive department specific projects and initiatives.
- Maintain agility and prioritize workflow to adapt to other projects and responsibilities as assigned to meet the business needs.
- Support employee relations and investigations; participate in employee engagement activities
- Partner with the Center of Excellence to drive employee resolution for complex Leaves of Absence issues, Benefits Site engagement, ad hoc Compensation changes required, and support of Employee Resource Groups.
- Conduct training relating to our people's principles and cultural norms/expectations.
- Support organizational design and structural changes to ensure consistency.
- Monitor and maintain accuracy of Employee Records using various HRIS systems.
- Evaluate new-hire onboarding and iterate to drive the best experience to fast ramp, assist with programming.
- Assist with performance management activities and compensation modifications - help leaders to understand team performance.
- Communicate the strategy behind and rollout of benefits programs, including annual open enrollment, and participate in benefits education campaigns.
- Partner closely with Workforce Management (WFM) and payroll to resolve issues of attendance, employee scheduling, leaves of absence, etc.
- Engage in Talent programming that impacts the business. (ie. Safety Awareness Month, Learning & Development Adherence, etc.)
What You'll Need
- 1+ years in a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Generalist role or similar experience
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Technical experience utilizing system applications like Workday (HRIS systems), ServiceNow (ticketing systems), Google Suite, and Visier (analytical data platforms)
- Ability to build productive relationships and effectively influence all levels of the organization
- Ability to use independent judgment, problem-solve and be creative to drive resolution to unique HR related issues
- Ability to analyze, interpret, manipulate data as it relates to the HR function
- Comfortable adapting to change in a fast-paced, dynamic and ambiguous environment
- Flexible schedule to support dynamic needs of business
Preferred Skills & Experience
- 1+ years of experience in state & federal Labor Law and Employee Compliance (location specific)
- Fluency in both Spanish and English
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field
