YOUR MISSION

Glovo is building the future of cities by enabling anyone to get any product from any store delivered in minutes. Our goal is to provide an on-demand delivery infrastructure for every city in the world.

We are looking for a Business Administration and Accounting graduate with 3-4 years of experience in the financial field (ideally with a Big4 audit background) to join us as the Accounting Assistant Manager in Barcelona.

THE JOURNEY 

• Prepare Financial Statements to ensure accounting principals are met.
• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual local closing process.
• Maintain very fluid communication with subsidiaries and be the main gateway between Group Accounting (shareholder) - Accounting HQ and Local Accounting.
• Help improve financial processes in company-wide projects 
• Assist with external audits, both reporting and statutory.
• Support local accounting teams in cross accounting projects led from HQ, such as R&D capitalization, IFRS assessments.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting required, Master’s degree is a plus.
• 3+ years of audit and 2+ years of company experience. A combination of national and international exposure is a plus. Preferably Big Four background.
• A strong technical knowledge of accounting and compliance issues. Knowledge of the digital industry is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using Navision and SAP S4/HANA is a plus.
• Proficient with Excel while applying strong analytical skills.
• Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment, prioritizes multiple projects, meets all deadlines, and is dependable with a sense of personal responsibility for quality work product.
