The Tracking and Ad Operations Manager plays a vital role in supporting the operational excellence of MongoDB’s Marketing organization. In this technical and cross-functional role, the candidate will execute as a key player in configuring, building, and improving MongoDB’s acquisition infrastructure and online tagging stack and will work closely with stakeholders across Marketing, Engineering, and Operations to strategize, organize, and improve the use of data inside our paid media and web properties.

This role can be based remotely in Dublin.

Main Responsibilities
  • Be a power user and admin in multiple technologies in the tagging, tracking, web, and ad operations stack
  • Ensure the web tracking and ad technologies are efficiently designed to run marketing campaigns aligned with business goals
  • Act as an active voice in defining our tracking architecture to maximize our data usage in audience creation and campaign optimization
  • Align with stakeholders to assess needs, build a roadmap for new technology and capability development
  • Partner with marketing teams to build custom execution needs, potentially leading these projects
  • Partner with web technology, marketing operations and other engineering teams support script implementation and debugging
  • Monitor health and data hygiene of operational systems
  • Proactively plan and organize system maintenance
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in digital analytics or web tracking-related positions
  • Experience across a variety of ad ops, tracking, web analytics, and data enrichment technologies (Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Segment, 6sense, Clearbit, Google Analytics 360/4)
  • Experience with multiple Ad Platforms (Google, Meta, etc) pixel implementation through front-end solutions or offline via APIs
  • Experience with web-related programming languages like JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML
  • Excellent organizational, project management, communication skills, and script governance skills
  • Natural drive for innovation and creative problem-solving
  • Bachelor's Degree focusing on Information Technology, Marketing, Digital, Business Analytics, Computer Science or related preferred
Bonus Points
  • Experience with B2B and PLG
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience using SQL and APIs
  • Experience with CDPs (Segment, mParticle, Treasure Data, etc…)
  • Experience in a mature Marketing Operations team, combining the needs of developers, business analysts, and business stakeholders to build solutions
