We are looking for a highly-talented Business Development Manager for a 1 year maternity cover based in Seoul. The incumbent will be tasked to enable millions of SMBs and professional businesses in Korea to get paid globally with Payoneer’ s fast, flexible, secure and low cost solutions. Your responsibilities will include increasing business adoption and market penetration for Payoneer product and services. Working in a dynamic environment you will be responsible for establishing and developing relationships with the company’s most active users, industry influencers, and early adopters and leverage this to increase business with the customer.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high energy environment. Candidate should possess sales development background that enables him or her to drive engagement with respective stakeholders. He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute on customer development plan at scale.

What you’ll be spending your time on:

  • Grow Payoneer’s cross-border transfer business in Korea e-commerce and other verticals markets such as vacation rental, freelancer & B2B export etc. to support company’s annual strategies
  • Execute company’s business development plans by acquiring new customers/users, and nurturing the relationship with top customer/user for accomplishing regional sales target
  • Define the portfolio strategy to identify customer transformational opportunities, enabling Payoneer to increase the new volume
  • Create transformational goals for each vertical and customers, follow up on client feedback and adjust the plan accordingly during the quarter
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions for Payoneer services in coordination with the marketing team, presenting at marketing events and showing Payoneer presence in the cross-border events

For this role you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and above
  • 3+ years of experience of hands-on sales and/or business development toward SMB service providers
  • Proven track records and high familiarity in Korea markets; access to industry related resources is an advantage
  • Experience in cross-border e-commerce, online B2B, or familiarity with risk control of cross-border transactions is preferred
  • Business level communication in Korean and English
  • Excellent presentation and sales pitch skill
  • High interpersonal skill to work with various customers, internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Willing to travel, abilities to work independently with highly self-motivated and innovative mind
  • Excellent business acumen and problem solving skills
