Your mission

As a Working Student in the Commercial Team at UNIO Enterprise, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the exciting world of LEO (Low Earth Orbit) satellite technology, the commercial aspects of the space industry and early-stage agile product development. This role is ideal for students who are looking to enhance their educational experience with real-world exposure to commercial operations in a dynamic, forward-thinking start-up environment.Your challenge and key responsibilities: 

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers, trends, and emerging opportunities in various vertical markets (e.g. Transport & Logistics, Agriculture, Automotive) 
  • Analyze data and compile reports to support decision-making
  • Assist the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and other sales materials. Collaborate with the entire team and support customer acquisition and retention
  • Help maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions and communications (CRM System in place: Hubspot)
  • Monitor and report on competitor activities, pricing strategies, and product offerings. Provide insights to the commercial team for competitive positioning
  • Support the marketing team in the creation of marketing materials, such as flyers, web content, and social media updates. Assist in organizing promotional events and campaigns
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling meetings, and maintaining documentation
  • Any other business coming up in the daily operations in the commercial team
 

Your profile

  • Currently enrolled student at a university - preferably a master's student with a background in business, marketing, economics, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Familiarity with modern tools such as Miro, Hubspot, JIRA, etc.
  • Experience with CRM systems (preferably Hubspot)
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Availability up to work 20 hours per week (flexible arrangements possible during exam-times). (or internship full-time) 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and ideally German.
