The MongoDB Professional Services (PS) department exists to support the development of our customers’ vision, accelerate customers’ time to value, and drive a multitude of customer adoption scenarios - from building new solutions to modernizing legacy applications or migrating to the cloud. Our consulting solutions ensure that organizations get the most out of MongoDB at all stages.

Working across both PS and MongoDB, the Senior Manager will be focused on driving complex initiatives from idea to post-implementation, ultimately resulting in full integration into business processes and alignment with company strategies.  This role will require expert project and change management skills, team coaching skills, risk analysis, and the ability to articulate value propositions to reduce barriers to change and increase the organization’s change resilience.  This highly visible role will contribute to the organization's operational excellence and high-performance culture.

We're looking to speak to candidates located in Austin, Chicago or other central US time zone locations. This is a remote role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project and Change Management of Top Initiatives and Commercialization projects
    • Drive standardization and best practices
    • Implement RACI(s) across PS and MDB
    • Develop project plan - scope, resource, and milestone schedule
    • Status reporting and risk analysis
    • Remove roadblocks and drive risk resolution
  • Own Change Management and Communications of Top Initiatives
    • Risk assessments/impact analysis
    • Communication and sponsorship
    • Training and knowledge management
    • Resistance and reinforcement management
    • Drive adoption by enabling teams to embrace change
    • Execute full change management strategy 
  • Proactive Problem Solving and Adaptability
    • Communicate risk/impact and mitigation plans
    • Build change capabilities and organizational resilience
    • Enhance team effectiveness through team coaching
    • Streamline processes across customer journey
  • Education & Experience Requirements
    • 5+ years driving transformational initiatives in the software industry
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) OR PRINCE2 Certification required
    • Change Management experience and certification (Prosci, ADKAR, Kotter, etc.) required
    • 10+ total years in the technology or software industry
    • Experience with post-sales businesses and processes
    • Ability to lead cross-functionally across multiple business units
    • Team building, coaching, mentoring
    • Business case and value proposition experience
    • Strong business process optimization skills
    • Risk analysis and mitigation
    • Data-driven decisions and analysis
    • Comfortable operating in an ambiguous environment
    • Executive presence

    • Familiarity and experience in the facilitation of multiple change management methods

Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package.     MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:$98,000—$193,000 USD
