Are you passionate about iGaming Industry and wants to work with infrastructure technologies both on-prem and cloud? If yes then we have an exciting role for you as the Junior Systems Engineer at our Corporate IT team under Service Desk in Stockholm. This will be a 12 months fixed term contract with a possibility of extension. At Betsson Group, our Junior Systems Engineer works with fellow Systems and DevOps Engineers in building and supporting corporate services whilst improving technical operations best practices for the team, driven by eagerness to learn and use modern and emerging technologies with passion. This role will connect the dots for various business needs in multiple locations, determining the best approach and solution to ensure that services are professional supported while keeping costs down. 

A taster of what you will be involved with

Your main goal is ultimately to build and support corporate services and improve technical operations best practices for the team. To this end, you will be expected to:

  • Maintain and develop Corporate Infrastructure supporting the Betsson’s business requirements.
  • Maintain Corporate Infrastructure supporting the Betsson’s business requirements.
  • Maintain and develop documentation and knowledge sharing in via online tools.
  • Take ownership of systems and service monitoring.
  • Focus on implementing continual improvement.
  • Provides technical expertise to enable the correct application of operational procedures.
  • Contributes to the planning and implementation of maintenance and installation work.
  • Identifies operational problems and contributes to their resolution, checking that they are managed in accordance with agreed standards and procedures.
  • Administration and handling of Betsson’s Cloud and On-Prem Infrastructure, Corporate Services such as Active Directory and Office 365, amongst others.
  • Uses standard procedures and tools to carry out defined system backups, restoring data where necessary.
  • First point of contact for IT support, infrastructure projects, local management and vendors/supplier coordination.
  • Maintenance responsibility of all IT equipment in the office (Server room, UPS, Meeting Rooms AV Setup, Mobile Phones etc.)
  • Be expected to work on call and/or on shifts as per business requirements.
What we are looking for
  • A relevant academic degree or qualifications would be considered a plus, but are not mandatory.
  • Must be located in Sweden and willing to work onsite in Stockholm. 
  • Experience on traditional infrastructure On-Prem, including servers and storage components.
  • Knowledge of procedures and tools to carry out defined system and data backups and restores.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365 and SCCM.
  • Service mindset.
  • Willingness to go the extra mile for supporting colleagues.
  • Clear verbal & written communication.
  • Full proficiency in English & Swedish is a plus. 

Would be great to also possess:

  • Experience on infrastructure including Cloud Services (especially AWS and Azure).
  • Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMWare), monitoring technologies and tools.
  • Experience using IaC (Terraform / Ansible).
  • Experience on MS SQL (Or Similar).
  • Automation, Security, Configuration and Version Management skills.
  • Coding Experience and Scripting Skills (C#, Python, PowerShell, Node JS).
  • Vender specific certifications (AWS, Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, Veeam).
