What You'll Do:

LogicMonitor is disrupting the hybrid cloud monitoring market by changing the way businesses use disparate sources of data. We are already a leader in this space – and we started by solving the hardest, most complicated problem first. With roots in the IT Infrastructure Monitoring space, we have carved out excellent product-market fit in hybrid cloud monitoring. Our customers love LogicMonitor's ability to bring cloud and traditional IT together into one view, as seen in minimal churn rates, expansion business, and exciting new customer references. As we enter this next phase of growth, we are in search of a Corporate Strategy & Insights Manager.

LogicMonitor is in search of a highly motivated industry expert to join as our Director of Corporate Strategy & Insights. You will play a pivotal role in gathering key industry and competitive insights, and flowing those back to our corporate and product strategies. Your strategy and innovation will lead LogicMonitor to pioneering where we will be headed with our observability roadmap.

Here's a closer look at this key role:

  • Competitive Analysis:
    • Conduct in-depth analysis of Observability & AI competitors' strategies, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
    • Identify and track competitors' product/service offerings, pricing strategies, market positioning, and go-to-market approaches.
    • Assess market trends and emerging technologies to anticipate future competitive challenges.
    • Competitive Benchmarking: Establish and maintain a comprehensive database of competitive information. Regularly update benchmarking metrics to evaluate LM's performance against competitors.
    • Pricing & Packaging landscape: assess competitive landscape & recommend competitive pricing & packaging strategies to accelerate growth and drive value for LM
  • Market Research:
    • Collaborate with analysts and market researchers to gather data on market dynamics, customer behavior, and emerging trends.
    • Monitor and report on industry trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors that may impact the company.
    • Own LM’s TAM/Market Sizing research and data
  • Strategic Insights & Recommendations:
    • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.
    • Develop reports and presentations to communicate competitive intelligence finding, industry trends, and their implications for the company.
  • CEO reporting & insights
    • Provide regular reports & presentations for the CEO and board
    • Product ad hoc CEO-driven analyses
What You'll Need:
  • 5+ years experience in investment banking, management consulting, finance, market research, or other corporate strategy roles
  • Knowledge of market sizing & trends analysis, competitive intelligence, industry & analyst perspectives on observability (and AI a plus)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed organization
  • Observability domain knowledge and expertise is a plus
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field or equivalent

LogicMonitor believes in pay transparency, so we provide the base salary ranges for all of our jobs in the United States. Actual base salary offered will vary depending on factors including but not limited to: location, education, experience, skills, and qualifications. As part of our holistic compensation philosophy, LogicMonitor also offers many competitive elements in our total compensation package for US employees, such as bonus or commission compensation in addition to the base pay, an equity program for all full time employees, 401K matching, and other rewards. 

Base Salary Range$119,000—$163,700 USD
