Are you a talented marketing generalist looking for an exciting opportunity to build modern customer experiences that inspire customers to take action? Are you interested in joining a fun and growing team that’s focused on maximising revenue by building strong customer relationships? If so, the Customer Lifecycle Marketing team could be the perfect fit for you!

You’ll design and launch scaled and targeted campaigns that deliver immediate customer value, while also working seamlessly with other customer touch-points (e.g. in-product, sales and customer education). Through this work, you’ll become an expert at developing growth tactics. You’ll deploy those tactics using modern marketing channels such as chatbots, product tours, banners and in-app messaging, as well as scaling traditional channels such as email.

You’ll also be a major contributor to broader cross-functional strategies and campaigns, working closely with other teams, including Growth, Sales, Product Marketing and Product Management.

What will I be doing? 🚀
  • You’ll oversee the development of our customer/user messages including, but not limited to, product update announcements, customer newsletters, service messages, and customer satisfaction surveys
  • Leverage customer data and analytics to create highly targeted audience segments — ensure that all messages are sent to the right people at the right time through the right channel
  • Be a brand steward ensuring our brand promise and story are consistently being represented in all messages being created
  • Report out to key stakeholders on our future plans, and our project results
  • You’re the most organised person you know. That’s why you’ll be great at creating and managing our customer communication calendar, ensuring timely communication of critical business initiative
  • You’ll also safeguard our customers from over-messaging. While it’s tempting to tell our customers about all the cool stuff we do, nobody likes too many messages :)
  • Working with your friends in marketing, sales, customer support, research and product, you’ll define the correct message, audience and timing of our messages
What skills do I need? 📖
  • You have 2+ years of experience in a marketing role, or 4+ years in customer service, customer success or a similar/relevant field
  • You love to build relationships and delight customers because you know loyal customers equals higher LTV. And you don’t need to google “LTV” ;)
  • You love the written word - you can create compelling marketing copy that sells and inspires action
  • You’re organized, can hold your own around both technical and creative thinkers alike and can explain how we use data to do our jobs
  • You have experience with marketing platforms to send communications and are comfortable with analytics tools like Tableau
  • You’re a team player, and your former colleagues will say that you collaborate well with others to get the job done. This is key for this role
  • You thrive in ambiguous situations and love to build things from scratch
