The Role 

As Digital Marketing Specialist, you will drive the growth of DfW, by executing paid campaigns across multiple digital platforms, to achieve both brand metrics and lead conversion. You will sit within the DFW Central Marketing Team, is based in the UK and reports to the DfW Marketing Lead. You will also work with the DfW Global markets, platform owners, DfW Commercial, Finance and several other departments. You will be connected with the Central Performance Marketing team, who will support you by being a centre of excellence and a connection point to Deliveroo’s B2C marketing activity. DfW is a start-up within Deliveroo, with a team that balances technical expertise with a “get stuck in” approach to building a business at pace.  You will be excited by this unique opportunity to build a business and team, with a growth mindset as we begin DfW’s new chapter.

What you’ll be doing

Please note that this role will also support the Central B2B Marketing team in driving brand awareness and new partner acquisition. 

  • Identify key channels and implement a buying strategy to target decision-makers amongst potential Deliveroo for Work clients. 
  • Build digital campaigns for DfW and the central B2B Marketing team across multiple digital platforms to guide brand awareness and conversion amongst target audience cohorts.  
  • Use bidding/targeting strategies to ensure we meet applicant and efficiency targets. 
  • Run weekly reporting of campaign performance, leading communication with the DfW marketing team and the Global Heads of Market and suggesting optimisation.  
  • Educate performance marketing understanding amongst DfW marketing and Global Heads of Markets. 
  • Seek opportunities to run AB testing to enable learning and optimisation. 
  • Lead the performance marketing PCA process, by analysing results, identifying data trends and recommending strategic improvements.
  • Lead Performance forecasting, to determine yearly/quarterly targets. This will involve working with DS to create data-based assumptions and forecasts.
Requirements
  • A passion for the DfW ambition!  B2B experience is not a must, but an appetite to grow
  • Proactivity. We are scaling up and we need someone who can see around corners to our next job to be done, showing tenacity to get started and the right team involved.
  • Experience in project management, approaching each task with a focused objective and clear timelines
  • Strength in stakeholder management, with strong attention to detail and communication skills, with the ability to flex for different functions and stakeholders. Experience in a matrix organisation is beneficial.
  • Experience with Facebook Ads Manager, PPC, Display and online video. 
  • Experience launching campaigns
  • Proficient in running A/B tests to determine variants
  • Extremely data-driven
  • Intermediate and above Excel skills

Preferred, but not required:

  • Experience with Smartly.io
  • Experience with data visualisation tools e.g. Looker
  • Experience running brand or conversion lift studies
