THE MISSION

The Business Applications leader will transform Zuora’s Quote to Revenue journey and serve as the best practice example of the modern-day subscription business to use with our customers including processes, organizational model, implementation, and technology needs.  The leader will help to enable the best practice example of the modern-day subscription business to use with our customers including processes, organizational model, implementation, and technology needs.

WHAT YOU WILL ACHIEVE:

As our experienced business applications leader working within the Customer Experience (CX) Technology team with over 15 years in the field, you will drive transformative change by leveraging your expertise to shape our subscriber led growth digital transformation, experience and technology. Your strategic vision and leadership will empower us to achieve the following:

  • Strategic Vision: Develop and execute a forward-thinking digital transformation vision, strategy and execution plan that aligns with business goals and enables growth, customer engagement and operational efficiencies. Enable key company priorities to implement ZonZ products eg: CPQ, Billing, Revenue to support the new subscription economy by end to end transformation of Quote to Cash processes to accelerate growth and reduce deal/order cycle time.
  • Business Domain: Deep business functional expertise in Order to Revenue (CPQ, Billing, Revenue) areas to shape the future state driven by an efficient end to end business processes and experience.
  • Design Thinking: Lead from design (systems) thinking approach to reimagine and optimize the experiences and processes and drive the necessary transformation change. Enable guided selling and partner experience by ensuring the voice of the seller/partner is accounted for.
  • Technology: Deep technical product expertise in identifying the right technology solutions, tools and capabilities to drive and enable the business needs, demands, experience and processes. Rationalize and optimize the supporting business applications landscape and architecture.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Identify opportunities to leverage the best of data and insights to optimize and improve the business processes and shape the future of Customer 360 to enable the users and processes with actionable insights and actions. 
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate strong relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders to review, sync and align on broader organizational objectives, goals and outcomes. Align product, sales and finance teams drive key business priorities.
  • Execution: Lead with a product management and agile development, speed and scale mindset to deliver incremental capabilities and accelerate on value realization.
  • Change Management Excellence: Challenges the status quo, supports fresh perspectives, tries out new approaches and enlists support for change initiatives. Lead and define change management strategies, ensuring user adoption, value realization and facilitating transitions and enablement of new technologies and experiences.
  • Vendor and Partner Collaboration: Drive innovation through vendor partnerships and negotiate advantageous contracts based on your extensive industry contacts.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to mitigate them effectively, safeguarding our digital initiatives.
  • Innovation and Best Practices: Introduce industry best practices and innovative ideas to continually evolve the end to end customer experience lifecycle and processes.

What You Will Need to Be Successful:

To excel in this role, you'll need to bring the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  • Experience: A minimum of 15 years of experience in digital transformation, strategic leadership, quote to revenue, technology implementation and value realization.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change in a dynamic environment.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge in Q2C cycle - Sales, Partner, GTM, Order to Revenue (CPQ, Billing, Revenue) areas technologies, and emerging trends.
  • Change Management: Mastery in defining and executing change management strategies, ensuring smooth transitions during technology adoptions.
  • Innovation: A track record of introducing innovative ideas and leveraging best practices to drive growth and operational excellence.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Vendor Management: Expertise in negotiating contracts, managing vendor relationships, and selecting appropriate technology solutions.
  • Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically, align digital initiatives with business goals, and drive positive outcomes.
  • Systems Thinking: Proficiency in systems thinking to understand the interconnectedness of experience, processes, technology & data to shape the future state.
  • User-Centric Approach: Experience in designing user-centric experience and solutions that enhances Zeo’s day in life and work.
  • Process Optimization: Experience in optimizing workflows and processes to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of the tools.
  • Technology Integration: Ability to integrate various technologies seamlessly to create a cohesive and holistic environment.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Demonstrated capability to leverage data insights for informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
  • Mentorship: Experience in leading, mentoring and guiding teams, fostering professional growth and development.

The base pay range for this position is only one element of a candidate's total rewards package, which may also include bonuses/variable compensation, equity, and benefits. Base Pay Details$216,900—$325,400 USD
