The Director of Lead to Order Global Process Owner will be a key member of the Integrated Operations team and will report directly to the Director of IOPS Strategy, Business Intelligence and Analytics. 

As a top candidate, you should have a desire to learn and analyze end to end process flow of: setting marketing targets, qualifying leads, sales process, quoting, negotiations and order. The ideal candidate will have a background in Hardware, Software and SaaS business models. They will posses strong leadership and managerial skills and will interact cross-functionally with multiple business owners and be part of the COO leadership.

Lead to Order Global Process Owner

Existing end to end flow

  • Collaborate with Lead to Order business owners to understand and document existing end to end policy, process and system flow for the various GTM  streams. 
  • Maintain and update end to end flow, highlighting cross functional roles and responsibilities, interdependencies, hand offs, control points, system integrations.

Process Optimization

  • Ability to identify gaps, areas of improvement in efficiency and redundancies to enable function to scale.
  • Provide recommendations and proposals to eliminate unnecessary complexities, standardize core processes and eliminate low value work.
  • Align cross functional responsibilities, accountability and reduce silos.
  • Provide recommendations to leverage technology such as ERP, data standards, analytics, and reporting.

Perform benchmarking analyses of best in class and cost benefit analyses of proposed solutioning over policy, process, and system.Provide detailed process, policy and system recommendations, implementation planning, design and tracking of opportunity road map.  Partner with business owners, Internal Audit and External Auditors through the year to tackle top initiatives, any issues identified, and remediation plans.

Automation

  • Provide assessments and recommendation of automation of manual process and high touch areas.  
  • Assist the Lead to Order process owners to fulfill their role and deliverables  for digitization project
  • Represent the Lead to Order functions in project and system designs when needed.  

Project Initiatives

  • Project manage and provide requirements for the Lead to Order function in designated projects and system implementations. 
  • Coordinate and track end to end testing plans, execution, and results. 
  • Provide enablement and training for policy, process, and system enhancements.
  • Provide executive readouts on project proposals, plans, status, and execution. 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, or Finance.
  • 15 plus years of relevent experience 
  • Lean Six Sigma certification or equivalent
  • Experience growing the maturity of the processes within the Sales and/or Lead to Order sub-process.
  • Experience with a high-growth and fast-paced company, ideally in the Software and Hardware industry.
  • Experience with multiple business models such as SaaS, on-premise licenses, hardware and services.
  • Great interpersonal skills to collaborate with different individuals across the organization.
  • Ability to collaborate and partner with all levels of management and be able to relate to their needs and perspectives.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Great organization skills, to be able to manage and prioritize several different activities in parallel.
  • Ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity as required.
  • Experience working with ERP systems including NetSuite, SAP and SFDC. Ability to create reports and dashboards is a plus. 
  • You will be based in Santa Clara}. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

The annual base salary range is: $177,000-$283,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. 

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
