Overview:

Factor, a prominent player in the health and wellness food industry, is seeking an accomplished and analytical professional for the role of Director, Strategy and Analytics. This key position will play a vital role in steering the company's financial success by leveraging analytics against the P&L (Profit and Loss) statement. The ideal candidate will bring a robust background in strategic planning, financial analytics, and project management to contribute significantly to Factor's continued growth.

You will…

  • Strategic Planning and Financial Analytics:
    • Lead the development and execution of Factor's strategic initiatives, emphasizing the use of analytics against the P&L to inform decision-making.
    • Conduct comprehensive financial analyses, competitor assessments, and industry trend evaluations to identify growth opportunities and refine strategic plans.
  • P&L Performance Optimization:
    • Drive the optimization of financial performance, utilizing analytics to identify areas for improvement and efficiency within the Profit and Loss statement.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives that positively impact the P&L and overall financial health.
  • Roadmap Development and Program Leadership:
    • Develop and communicate strategic roadmaps aligned with financial objectives, prioritizing initiatives that drive profitability.
    • Lead and guide program initiatives within the Project Management Office (PMO) to improve P&L performance.
  • Root Cause Analysis:
    • Conduct root cause analyses to uncover underlying issues affecting financial performance.
    • Collaborate with teams to implement data-driven solutions, driving continuous improvement against financial objectives.

You have...

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in strategic planning, financial analytics, and project management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Financial Acumen: Proven ability to optimize financial performance, using analytics to drive improvements against P&L objectives.
  • Strategic Thinker: Demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to enhance financial performance.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
  • Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, able to adapt to changing priorities.
  • High intellectual curiosity: Supported by strong analytical and cognitive skills, and ability to translate into actionable business decisions and execution plans.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Excel) or Google Suite.
