EMEA Business Development Director Microsoft

Elastic’s ecosystem partners are crucial to the continued growth of Elastic. Our cloud partners play a central role in this complemented with (G)SI’s, MSP’s, distribution and resell partners. 

Elastic is a Strategic partner of Microsoft. To accelerate further we are looking for leadership of the EMEA Microsoft relationship. Preferably this person is located in the London or Amsterdam area.

With responsibility for the EMEA Microsoft growth results you will continue to build, accelerate and optimize our co-sell motion, find new opportunities and lead execution. In this role you will work closely with the Global Microsoft Alliance team, the EMEA leadership team and will reporting to the EMEA Head of channels as an individual contributor.

The success of the partnership with Microsoft is proven by the success of our joint customers. To secure success your activities include. 

  • Be the strongest advocate for Microsoft & Elastic better together internally and externally

  • In cooperation with Microsoft build, execute and monitor (QBR’s) the annual business plan

  • Work closely with the sales leadership team to support and drive co-sell engagement 

  • Work across the partner team to drive in country activities 

  • Identify and resolve enablement gaps across the field organization 

  • Use your experience, creativity and ambition to rapidly scale

What You Bring Along:
  • This is not your first rodeo, you have a deep understanding of the Microsoft processes, programs and know what success looks like

  • Know how to get multi people from multiple teams on board to support your projects

  • Think outside-in, how to integrate the Elastic GTM in to the Microsoft GTM  

  • Have experience across sales, marketing and channel preferable with management experience. 

  • Know what it takes to work with internal and external executive 

  • Are data driven in understanding the state of the business and support decision making

The obvious ones

  • A strong network across Microsoft to help you succeed 

  • Fluent in English, other languages are a plus

  • Willingness to travel and experienced in EMEA markets

Preferred locations are London or Amsterdam area
