The Finance and Strategy team's core mission is to help Deliveroo make more informed decisions. As the scale and complexity of Deliveroo grows every day, we need dynamic, analytical thinkers to support in optimising decision-making and driving profitable growth. Job Intro

This candidate will report to the Senior FP&A Manager and provide insight to support decision-makers and understand the P&L impact of those decisions. You will work with team members to manage data and model strategic programmes to lead the long-term growth of the business. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving difficult problems, has and can work with senior management.

This role is based in London, UK.

The job will involve:

  • Business Partnering with a variety of team members up to and including VP daily

  • Play an important role in the Annual Planning/budgeting process for a strategic process within Deliveroo

  • Track against the annual plan identifying any risk and opportunities to the plan

  • Support the partners within the function by working with them through the development of and tracking of new programmes (e.g. new business cases)

  • Manage monthly P&L reporting and commentary into monthly business reviews

  • Understand and influence the underlying performance drivers to help build the top and bottom line

  • Provide proactive, insightful, high-quality analysis and expertise to support decision-making in the context of wider business possible effects

  • Translate actions and programs into targets and long-range plans for the business

Requirements

  • Experience influencing senior partners

  • 3+ years of experience in an analytical, strategic or commercial role (investment banking or consulting)

  • Qualified Accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA)

  • Advanced GSheet/Excel (can perform complex functions) skills

  • Complex financial modelling experience

  • Can demonstrate achievements and confidence with numbers

  • Team player able to work with, and patience

  • Experience working in a dynamic high-growth company
