As a financial institution moving billions of customer money in more than 70 countries, Wise must have bulletproof financials. We need timely, accurate and scalable financial data to be compliant with regulations and make accurate business decisions to support our growth and financial objectives.

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join the Finance Data Assurance team.  The core function of the team is to ensure product financials are recorded in accurate, timely and reliable financials for Wise.

This role gives a great opportunity to combine  Product skills with technical data processing skills . You will get familiar with all key products of Wise, understand the business and also improve your data analysis expertise.

Your day-to-day:

• Working with various stakeholders - Product Managers, Engineering teams, other finance sub-teams (. Accounting, Business Insights etc)  to understand the various products supported in Wise and any future expansions

• Assist in  Product launches, building control models over the financial data and creating documentation for stakeholders

• Hands on data maintenance/management – data analysis, data cleanup, automations
• Communicate technical subjects clearly to a range of non-technical stakeholders
• Work on continuous improvement of the finance controls in collaboration with engineers and other analysts to improve scalability and timeliness.

A bit about you:

• Strong SQL experience building complex analytical queries, reports and data models.
• Worked with cross functional teams supporting their analytical requirements.
• Detail oriented, great at working autonomously and meeting deadlines.
• Proven ability to work independently and end to end on Analytical tasks

• Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely and help stakeholders make data educated decisions
• Willing to acquire a basic understanding of finance.

Bonus points for:

• Worked with PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Airflow
• Familiarity with Python
• Understanding of accounting principles or treasury products

• Risk and control mindset
• Experience with Object Oriented code
• Experience working with auditors

• HUF 1.02M-1.39M per month
