Overview:

As a Global Cash Application and Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for handling all Cash Allocation and Cash Forecasting reporting.  You will report to the Director of Billing and Collections, and working hours will be 12:30pm - 9:30pm IST.

 

You will:
  • Post and reconcile all payments via lockbox upload, manual application (checks, ACH and wires), zero remits and/or payment corrections in a timely manner.
  • Process all manual credit card payments. 
  • Support preparation of global bank reconciliations: assist with monthly close processes.
  • Print batch reports and balance cash batches posted daily.
  • Notify collection analysts of any payment discrepancies by providing allocation details, remittances, and explanations of discrepancies.
  • Heavy account reconciliation to include identifying and correcting misapplied payments, current and historical. 
  • Review and reconcile unapplied payments. 
  • Collections (AR) forecasting: assist with monthly and quarterly cash collections forecasting. Coordinate with Treasury throughout the process.
  • Assist collections analysts with accounts with credit balances. 
  • Help identify customers remitting to incorrect banks to streamline the payment process. 
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Collections support: not limited to contacting clients, creating and implementing payment action plans, credit/write-off request submission, 3rd party collections. 
  • Review and respond to cases in Salesforce including processing incoming credit cards, processing vendor forms and respond to customer inquiries. 
  • Perform related duties and special projects as assigned.   
  • Take on special projects, accounting tasks, and workflow process improvements.
  • Become an integral part of shortening the monthly closing process time.
  • Participate in the implementation and optimization of various new systems and processes.
  • Support onboarding processes of all LivePerson vendors into Concur and SAP by working closely with business partners, security and legal teams.
  • Maintain general ledger and procurement vendor data.
  • Contribute to the evaluation and enhance the vendor onboarding process for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with security, legal and accounts payable teams to implement process improvements.

 

You will have the ability to:

  • Support the accounts payable and expense cycles as needed
  • Be a liaison for business partners to assist in the onboarding of new vendors
  • Process invoices, credit memos and purchase orders
  • Review and reconcile vendor statements
  • Investigate and resolve invoice and payment-related discrepancies
  • Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of correspondence with vendors
  • Assist employees with system issues
  • Ensure timely submission of outstanding invoices

 

You have:
  • 5+ years of professional and progressive related experience
  • 3+ years of cash allocation experience (preferably within SaaS or technology industry).
  • 2+ years of collections experience (preferably within SaaS or technology industry).
  • Advanced degree in Accounting preferred, not required. 
  • Excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to create reports/presentations. Intermediate to Advanced Excel and skills are required.
  • Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Sheets, Docs, etc) is a plus, not required. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Experience with business systems like Zuora, Salesforce, SAP.
